Thom Nagy returns to Gelbes Billett Musik with three delicately crafted tracks, that perfectly encompass his love of a tripped out, somewhat introverted, but blissfully happy dancefloor-state: his brand new "Damals" EP is wide in scale, subtle in approach and predestined for those precious moments, when night welcomes day, but seems reluctant to hand over the reigns just yet. "Anvari" and "Sunk" both build anticipation with a steady groove, meandering chords and plucked synths, before opening up to succession of emotionally charged pianochords. Although structured similarly, each track has an altogether different vibe to it: with its fluttering synths, "Anvari" seems to float a couple of metres above ground, while "Sunk" does the exact opposite, building drama on top of a bassheavier, grittier and darker groove. Thom Nagy's decade long career behind the decks shows it's obvious influence in the steady and deliberate pace, holding these tracks together. Meanwhile, the titletrack "Damals", is one of Thom Nagy's trademark quests through the expansive soundscapes in his head: eleven minutes of subtle tribal percussion, forgoing any obvious dancefloor-thump in favour of a refined, dubbed out heartbeat-rhythm. The much loved Balearic Gabba project series returns with yet more classically inclined, beautifully Italo-licked sounds that recall the halcyon days of the Balearic scene almost two decades ago as remixed by disco pin-up Prins Thomas. The man himself was keen to get involved in Balearic Gabba Soundsystem activities and started off with an unofficial edit of the Rusty track here, and eventually it became a proper remix, In light of that, Hell Yeah Rec decided to get two new and exclusive Prins Thomas tracks out of the remix to complete the package, and as youll hear he completely changed and replayed everything, added some acid and more besides The track he tackles is a timeless classic that characterised many of Sashas sets back in the 90s when he was hailed as the Son of God. Namely Rustys Everythings Gonna Change, in the hands of Thomas the originals ravey horns and wild chord stabs get stripped away and the mood is made more sultry and sexy. Lush lines and melodies all get bundled together beneath the anthemic, crystal clear vocals that soar above. Monte Baldo is another sympathetic re-rub with ambient liquidity at its core. All awash with rich synth puddles it sweeps you up and soars to the stars as mild acid gurgle lurk in the spaces left behind. Heady yet dancey, its a more energetic counter for the even more blissed out and celestial ambient swoons of EP closer Gran Paradiso. Raw District is the new deep house project from Belgian duo Vernon Bara and Massimo DaCosta, which debuts on their own label Homecoming Music. Three original tracks plough the house furrow in which they've built their reputation as Vernon+DaCosta, but take things a little deeper and darker with 90's influenced vocal stabs, spacey disco licks and grainy synths all playing a part. Seattle's Pezzner (Freerange, Om, Classic) goes further underground with a meandering subterranean groove working around the vocal from 'Breakaway'.Having met in a Mons record shop in 2000, under the Vernon+DaCosta name, they have released music on labels such as OM Records, AMA Rec, Robsoul, Aroma, OFF, Icon, Doubledown and many more of the world's finest underground house labels. They have remixed for artists such as Brett Johnson, Fred Everything, Style of Eye, Miguel Migs and JT Donaldson and have garnered a reputation as important international producers and DJs with respect paid by great DJs like Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Jamie Jones, Mark Farina and DJ Sneak. Vernon Bara also makes music as Ultrasone alongside Igor Vicente, which is a more techno orientated project that can count releases on Hot Creation and Supplement Facts to its name.Vernon and Massimo pair set up their own imprint Homecoming Music in 2010, in order to release music by themselves and their friends. �agar are a five piece psychedelic electronica band based in Budapest that are turning heads across the globe with their forward thinking sound design, catchy melodies and multi sensory live shows. After recently giving away to fans their latest single, �Space Medusa�, as a free download the band are preparing the release of their second album �Light Leaks� - 29th April.

Part of the burgeoning eastern European electronic scene, �agar create a fresh and unique sound based on wave rock, electronica and psychedelic soundscapes. The Hungarian band started out as three-fifths of the Yonderboi Quintet and after a few years and some critical success, keyboard player Bal�zs Zs�ger (�agar�s namesake) and scratcher Dj Bootsie splintered off to form their own sound, exploring more experimental avenues in their music. They eventually added drummer Tibor L�z�r, guitarist George Ligeti and bassist �kos Zs�ger-Varga to complete the band and are now a hugely significant force on the Eastern European music scene.

The talented band have already achieved strong critical acclaim, their last album �Cannot Walk, Fly Instead�, released worldwide on German label Mole Listening Pearls was nominated twice for the regional award at the MTV Europe Music Awards and entered the Top Ten in the music charts. The album won numerous awards, including the prestigious Hungarian Record Industry�s Fonogram Award and hit single, �Wings of Love� featuring Underground Divas, earned heavy radio play and secured the Number One spot for MTV�s Video Chart. The band went on to accept second place in the Independent Songwriting Competition in the same year.

�agar are also attracting fans overseas, their music has been sampled in both short and feature films, and was included in the soundtrack for popular American TV dramas, CSI:Miami and CSI:New York, reaching millions of viewers worldwide. The band have so far played extensively over Europe including supporting Depeche Mode on their Budapest leg of their �Tour of the Universe�. Highly praised for their electrifying live sets, in which they consistently create an atmospheric and unforgettable live experience.

While preparing for the album, �agar teamed up with the highly respected Bang + Olufsen to create a unique Facebook app in which fans could decode the first single from the album, Space Medusa�. Their new album �Light Leaks� explores expansive cinematic dreamscapes created with their perfect blend of cool guitar riffs, vintage synth sounds, psychedelic effects and Kraftwerk style vocoders. The 3rd EP of SoundDesigners Techno Gate plays raw/roots/deep/techno scenes. in this EP, Substak brings to us some simplicity. Remembering that less is more, "Hard times" have some singular mess. The Beat in Pan mode puts the base of the track in a soft platform, but the crazy acid loop and the rim put us at the time of 303 and 808 Redrum machines, the classical raw square sound that doesn't stop lopping make a fun contrast and reveals originality. The 2nd track "Distorced Deepness" starts with that rhythm loop and brings again the acid sounds. Just a small acid rain puts the spirit alive.The fresh deep pad gives a nice harmony that runs without stop 1 more time leaving you in the madness of this distorted hot feel. "Confusion" is a deep dark structure that you listen with smoothness until the end in a danceable way. The remixes fulfill this EP with sharps. PeteBlas gives an extended mode in a deep way using the high frequency melody of the original one with some deep dub chords delayed, the strong baseline gives some energy pulse to the track that puts the hypnotic feel in the air.Sonitus Eco use the same loop but with a melodic/acid/analog/techno/emotion drama in the scene. All the Redrum Techno elements are there, the Rides play a nice role, the toms give power to the structure, the repeating claps and the non stop moving hit hat's brigs a sweet raw texture to the track.
