For the past few months we have been working with artists worldwide, putting together a charitable compilation project for the cause of amnesty (Amnesty International). In the midst of this all, tragedy struck close to home.

On the 30th of September, good friend and fellow recording artist Aaron-Carl passed away from cancer. Aaron had been in and out of the hospital for nearly three weeks, and submitted work for the upcoming project just days before his untimely passing. His passing was truly soul shocking for all of us here at 6ONE6 (seems like yesterday we were toasting his birthday at Oslo, and speaking to him on the phone). In light of circumstance, we made a decision to divert from our original plan and approached the whole crew with a new idea and purpose.
