There are things that are so indescribably beautiful, that it’s easy for you to accept moments of silence and totally give in to the feeling. The Night for Angels-Album is a journey into the world of angels and of emotions. Without being kitschy or fake, it lets you enter in and be a part of it. This unique music project evolved from Bill Viola’s wonderful show “Five Angels for the Millenium”, that took place in the Gasometer in Oberhausen this summer and reached over 150 000 guests. As part of the show the album was premiered this September. The song lyrics were casted out of over 1000 contributions in the contest “Talking to Angels”.

With smooth beats and impressive voices the producers of plus49 created a mood that not only touches your soul, but also starts you thinking. Even if we can’t stop the world from turning, by listening to these angelic tunes it will stop, even if only for a short moment, all by itself. It is music, that makes you cry and dream, a kind of balm for your soul. If all around you seems to be bleak and gray, these melodies will create an array of colors in your inner world. By listening to even the first song, you let yourself be led into this fascinating world that totally engulfs you.
