Our man Nima is back on Triple-O with a follow up to his well received first release here on Out of Orbit. Since he left us last time, Nima have continued his search for the path of wisdom and beauty and left rainy Copenhagen behind in order to follow his dreams and try his luck at the magical island of Ibiza. Finding himself there, he seems not to have wasted his time, instead Nima have secured a residency at one of the islands most legendary clubs, namely Space. One of the first new songs NIma made on the Island is “French Connection”, a stunningly beautiful Balearic sundown tune, a perfect cross-over track for the transition from chill-out to the first slow but groovy dance tunes of the night. Continuing to wake us up the illusive world of Maya, where last years lost in phenomena ep left us, Nima gives us some beautiful words of wisdom on the importance of being in that mysterious and magical moment which is called NOW. This is the secret door into the infinite. This door can only be found through the most intense concentration on being in the present. Yesterday is already a thousand years away and the future is nothing yet but innumerable cloudy dreams of possible potential. Find your own way to navigate the beautiful but chaotic place we call malkuth, but remember that the road to true wu-wei starts right in this moment.
On the b-side we are proud to present the remix by Niño Raro aka. Iñaqui Marìn, one of Barcelonas best kept secrets. Releasing a string of 12”-inches and an album on Regular, this Catalan studio wizard have been causing a stir in the international underground electronic scene for a while now. Taking Nimas Balearic dub-tech masterpiece and mutating it through genetic engineering for the full-on bigrooms and outdoor floors, we are given a slightly over-the-top trancehouse killer with Ibiza hit potential. Iñaqui have here provided us with just that kind of psychodrama that we require at 4am in the morning. Beefy baseline melodies, metallic voices, strings, EBM-style lines, smashing percussions and even an tongue-in-cheek octave-shift to top it all off. Flawless! Not for the faint-hearted, this baby got all the extra toppings, so not for people who are afraid to drop some full calorie cream when the time is right.
