You’re willing to say: 'FINALLY!'...because you had to wait for too long for the new COMMANDER TOM album! But here's the reward for your patience: 'JETLAG' convinces all over! By the way; the title of this album is not chosen accidentally: Most of the tracks were produced from 2000 to the early 2002 when COMMANDER TOM was jetting highfrequently around the world during his world-tour (in 2000 he done 13 two-to-three-weeks-lasting tours; only in the USA!). Inspired through the different cultures; cities and locations the Stuttgarter went direct into the studio (in spite of his jetlag) while he were doing a short side-trip to his hometown; to manufacture his ideas and the things happend on tour in new musical projects! The results were 40 incomplete tracks; which were additionally checked on priority; quality and 'album-suitability'. Only 11 tracks reached the high demands of the techno-grandmaster and took; after the last ennoblement; the album-hurdel! As 'stickler of the deversified kind of production' – as he calls himself correctly – the NOOM-labelchief presents with this release his musical bandwidth; and it hardly could be more energetic and suitable for the dance/techno-sector! Not just true NOOM-fans will be electrified: Every track hits directly (especially the single 'SWEET THANG'; already producing large dj-interest on vinyl!). Versaitleness is unfortunately an almost unspread and not often aspired quality in european studios. Good to know that COMMANDER TOM looks at this in a different way and demostrates us; that there are still carefully produced techno-albums today with a high futuristic potential!
