The production team Tobias Menguser & Boris Alexander Pipiorke exists for more than 6 years now. Between more than 150 releases in different styles of dance music, worldwide dj bookings and some chart entries, there are several projects and one of them is CAFFEINE PEOPLE with several releases and remixes up to now.

The first release (Watch and Pray / Real Groove / 2003) in collaboration with Thomas Kutger aka DE-TOX drew attention to some big dj names of house music. For instance Tom Novy nominated the release as a Ibiza sommer anthem 2003 in his MTV show. The second CAFFEINE PEOPLE release (Flight to Hell / Real Groove / 2004), again in collaboration with Thomas Kutger astonished sundry house djs with some technoid influences on the a-side and really deep sounds on the b-side.

Worth mentioning is another house project of Tobias Menguser and Boris Pipiorke on the label Milk and Sugar. It’s called Stereorama (release 2005: Stylez Bond), and it was realized with the singer Julian Wiliam and co-produced by Thomas Kutger.

But now it’s time for their first release on Plastic City – the Cocktails’ Night E.P. Next to this release Boris Alexander Pipiorke constantly collaborates with Tom Wax and Tobias Menguser works for Native Instruments as sound designer.
