A former hip-hop DJ turned house producer, whose production credits include Crystal Water's "Gypsy Woman," Fulton is a man of many musical endeavors, and just as many monikers (Ladyvipb, Eddie and the Eggs, Dr. Scratch). He tends to release a new album as Boof every five years or so: Shhh... is his third since 2000, and much like its predecessors (A Soft Kiss By A Rose and Life Is Water For Gerbadaisies When They Are Dancing), it carries a strangely flower-inspired motif. The style of the album is classic Fulton: off-kilter, organic-sounding tunes that fall somewhere between house and funk.
