The hessian-born Basti Pieper opened his first chapter of his electronic being in 1999. In 2003 he became resident of Frankfurt's U60311 club and the Darmstadt Room 106 club. During his residencies he became aware that he wanted to be involved in the nightlife not only as a DJ but as a organiser of events. By now he hosted more than 200 events and has rocked the clubs with his pertinent sound and incredible guest-artists. Meanwhile he expanded his musical knowledge and started working at “Delirium Rec.“, a Frankfurt record store where artists like Ricardo Villalobos , Toni Rios , Chris Wood , Ata and Heiko MSO have worked as well.

In 2007 he founded his own record label “Herz ist Trumpf“, on which many renownd artist from across the globe have released their tracks. He also created a sublabel called “Herz ist Trumpf Subtil“. His first own production “Loop den Tag – Pieper & Dalinger“ has been released in 2008. A year later Cocoon licenced “I love you“ by Basti Pieper fest. Eddy Pirat for the “Sound Of The Tenth Season“ compilation of Sven Väth. The same year Basti Pieper became resident DJ of the Level 6 club in Darmstadt. There he hosted “label nights“ with guests like Galuzzi , Ruede Hagelstein,Ahmet Sisman and others. In 2010 he founded another label “Robot Chers“. Beside his resident gigs at Level 6 he also performed at Monza and the Cocoon Lounge. In the meantime his tracks have been featured on various compilations like “Terry´s Cafe 13“ , “Time Has Changed Sonar“ and “ Deep Train 7 Mix CD“. In 2011 he became artist on Plastic City with his newest release “Sie mag gerne Musik“ of Pieper and Dalinger including a Rmx of Ruede Hagelstein being released on the label. With his girlfriend he also launched a project called “Pieper & Kappetijn“ under which name a Resopal and a Resopal Red have been released. At the moment the 2 are working on an album which is scheduled to be released in early 2012. Basti Pieper himself is hosting his “label night“ at Dora Brillant in Frankfurt with guests like Sascha Braemer. Marcus Meinhardt and AndHim.
