AWeX are DJ Tom Wax and Thorsten Adler. They are well kown for their pioneer-work in Technomusic. They were known as Arpeggiators, one of the first Harthouse acts and stand also behind Microbots(Overdrive/R&S/Sony). Tom is as DJ Tom Wax a well known DJ in Germany. Their first release for Plastic City was the Psycho Drums Remix of Desert Storm. Although both of them were very busy with other projects, they finally decided to bring the Psycho Drums Project, which was one of theirearliest projects on R&S, back to life again but with another name, AWeX (A.dler-W.edel-e.X.perimental) was born.
After excellent press reviews, "It's our Future" quickly became a massive Club- and Rave hit and finally one of the big big anthems of 1995. The follow-up "Back on Plastic" was released in association with MCA Germany and entererd the official German charts (#32). Despite of chart success the band stuck to it roots. In May 1996 "Wicked Plasticmen" was released. AWeX became one of the most known German live-acts from their various live appearances in Clubs and Raves (like Mayday X, Energy '95). "I like that" is the latest single taken from the album "It's our Future".
The cover was designed by the designer Marc Buhre / CEBRA. The basic idea is a radarfield in which all the information is tracked and displayed. The AWeX 360º Floor Control design was born.
