Next up from Fear of Flying we have Pawas, originally from India and now based in Cologne. Pawas is currently in a bit of a groove on the production front with releases on Adam Krolls excellent Squonk label and also with an ep forthcoming on Germany’s Flash records with good friend Daso. Title track ‘Playtex’ is a twisting and turning groove through the deeper echelons of minimalism, very fx heavy with wibbles, whoosh’s and tripped out noises aplenty. One for the ‘hazy’ moments on the dance floor with it’s hypnotic groove bound to lock them in until the early hours. ‘Nylon’ delivers a summertime injection in the form of an uplifting slice of niceness.
